SNR is the noise reduction rating standard in Europe. Hearing
protection devices sold in the U.S. typically have an NRR rating. The
NRR is not yet available for the SnorePlug. It's likely that the NRR
figure is slightly lower than SNR. For comparison, the Howard Leight
Max foam earplug has an SNR of 34 and NRR of 33.
